and why does it matter?
We're going to do a deep dive into Metabolic Health and specifically how MetaPWR from doTERRA has something for you. Let's start at the beginning, when it first came out in the fall of 2022.
Honestly, I wasn't fired up about it. I was raised with a lot of fat phobia and have tried countless diets, even as far back as when I was a skinny teenager. Those seeds of negative body image and self loathing ran deep. That stayed with me well into my adult years. I was obsessive about weighing myself daily and that number on the scale was either going to make or break my day. It was the fact behind my smile or frown.
I wish I could tell you that I learned better decades ago, but it wasn't until 10-12 years ago that the teachings from my wise daughters and the unconditional love from my soulful husband, that I began to see the light.... and it wasn't the light from the fridge as I stood there telling myself, 'don't eat anything else today, just go to bed hungry - you'll be fine.'

I've never felt so well, both physically and mentally, when I quit weighing myself about 9 years ago. When I'm at the doctor's office and they ask me to step on the scale, I either decline or simply say, you can but I don't need to know - as I step onto the scale with my eyes closed.
