"We have an oil for that" has consistently been a reliable expression throughout my eight-year journey with essential oils.

One of my favorite collections is our Emotional Oil Kit, which corresponds to six of the seven chakras. I hope they will eventually update this kit to include the seventh chakra. In the meantime, I can recommend some oils to complete the set.
Whenever I open my oil case to use Helichrysum for vertigo prevention, I consider which Chakra I want to support with my oils. Often, a fellow deck mate joins me in the enjoyment of applying essential oils before our flow.

At the start of each year, our guide Alana leads us through all the chakras every Thursday, focusing on one each week.
She begins at the base of the spine and progresses upward weekly. We are encouraged to wear the color associated with each chakra.
We are grateful for everyone on the deck, as it is a soulful group of caring friends. Cathie, our unofficial class President, even sends out a thoughtful text reminding us of the color to wear that week!
Lately, it's been particularly busy for us, and I'm known for arriving just before we start. I spend my time exchanging hugs and catching up with our fellow yogis. Then, I sit down with just enough time to apply some oils, which I then pass to Michelle at the front left corner of the deck to enjoy and share. Indeed, we do have our usual spots—Doug is typically on the other end of the deck, I'm in the middle, Jacks to my right, and Patricia and Tani behind me to the left, and so on. I digress.
Alana kindly asks, 'dear Shari, what can you tell us about this oil today,' and recently, my response has been succinct, as it's spontaneous and not detailed: 'passion, it's red and relates to our root chakra and is grounding.' So, I'm pleased to have this opportunity to delve a bit deeper now. This is for my fellow yogis and anyone interested in exploring their chakras, the flow of chi through them and how essential oils can support you.
What is a Chakra?
Chakras are the seven primary energy centers along the spine that manage physical, emotional, and spiritual functions within the body.
Rooted in ancient Indian traditions, they are envisioned as spinning wheels of light, each associated with a specific color, element, and life aspect. They are harmonized through yoga, meditation, and mindfulness.
