Goal Setting...what's all the fuss?

In 1989, during my first year of sobriety, my husband at the time, Monte, was very driven to succeed. On the other hand, I was simply grateful to be clean and sober at 22.

He started reading motivational books and during this journey, he encountered the concept of setting goals.

Ok, let's do it. More to get this topic to pass, because quite frankly it overwhelmed me. So we sat down, jotted down a list of goals and tucked it away in our filing cabinet, back when we had those.

A year went by, and it was time to handle our taxes and clear out our filing cabinet. We found the paper where we had written what we once considered quite ambitious goals. To our amazement, we discovered that 18 out of our 26 goals had been achieved. Perhaps there was something to this..

This led us to thoroughly

research the most effective

method for setting goals in the

future, and he developed a style

that I have been using ever since.

We taught our daughters how to

set goals, as well as our friends and

their children. I've conducted classes

for various groups, ranging from

AA to church, and for the past

18 years, I've hosted a women's

goal-setting brunch at our house in PB.

Something magical occurs when we put pen to paper and dream without limits. Imagine if money, time, and even abilities were no obstacles, allowing you to do, become, and experience anything you desire. What would that vision be for you?

I believe it has been the secret sauce to the many adventures, my personal growth & various chapters in my book - all from taking one day out of a year to gather with a group or take time to be solo & expand our realm of possibilities.

If you're interested in learning more about this goal-setting technique that I've been using for the past 36 years, feel free to contact me. It takes 2 hours to complete, and is a complimentary offering to my rewards clients, both existing and new! This might be a great way to introduce a new habit for your health, such as the Foundational Health Kit or the Serenity Sleep System showcased below and set goals for an expansive future!

Here's to living in limitless dreams and knowing that life meets us at our level of audacity.

Go for it!
