We did it. We left San Diego. Not without a few delays and last minute tasks at hand, but by 1pm on Tuesday the 19th we headed East.
Is it our years on the planet or just plain luck that landed us in Yuma. Let me clarify... I'm referencing the relatively short distance to trek today with our late start, not the 99 degree heat at 6pm!
So here we are with gratitude to our toes for the ability to hang out in our RV with AC. Doug is making his rounds on the RV and trailer, as I catch up virtually, all the while the descending sun brings hope for a cooler evening.
Next Monday, and every Monday following will be our updates. We'll be in Tulsa, Oklahoma to see some relatives and friends.
